I am Mayte Medrano and this is what I do
Throughout my work experience I have tried to research the product and the potential customers of the firms I have worked for in order to shape the content into an honest and direct message.
Drawing on my experience as a print journalist, a self-taught apprenticeship in digital marketing and development and, without losing sight of the SEO optimisation criteria I'm so interested in, I aim to silence the noise with clarity, honesty and a well-defined message.
About me
I am a journalist with a great vocation for literature. I have been writing for as long as I can remember. That's why I enjoy so much ( really much) good writing that is capable of transforming emotions. From an advertising message, a post on Substack or a novel.
The first 18 years of my life I lived in Toledo and I soon realised that, although I loved my beautiful city, I wanted to know what was outside its medieval walls. After 6 years in Madrid I moved to Cheltenham (UK) where I spent just six months: enough to change my view of the world. I settled in Hannover, Germany, in 2017 after a few years in Essen, North Rhine Westphalia. This is where my favourite part of the story begins: my true vocation and my family. Both took shape in the capital of Lower Saxony and continue to grow.
My vision
I am a woman, a mother, a journalist, an editor... but none of this has any meaning on its own. What can I say when it comes to myself? I hardly give up and I believe that perseverance and effort are the key to any great challenge.
I go into the details of my work because only then can I be absolutely sure that the job is well done. I am not afraid of AI, it can be a great ally. However, I am not reluctant to supervise it to give it a different colour and shape and to make the texts appeal to the concrete amidst all the noise: to detail, to slow time, to enjoyment and to emotion.

THE GOOD STORIES from Galdós to Camus and the little genius that is my oldest son whose kindergarten stories are always the funniest adventures. I am not forgetting ‘Mariluz y las alfombras voladoras’, Mira or the Dinosaur Story that we read with my children before bedtime.

LIGHT EXERCISE such as swimming, yoga, running and walking at a good rhythm. They help me stretch every day and are an endorphin rush.

A HOME with natural flowers and decoration that combines harmony and a warm atmosphere to make our home the best place to be. I warn you: I gave up a long time ago, minimalism doesn't suit me...
